Traded a rockford fosgate power 360.2, some 4ga power wire, and a 1/2 farad LA cap for a 120 gig WD drive, cd-burner, and a GF2mx200.
Cross-traded on May 29, 2003 AnandTech
He asked if we could cross ship and I said sure. He told me he sent it with insurance, I asked for the number, he said he did not have it and later said that he did not put insurance on it.
He said he shipped around may 28th, he shipped it june 5th, I took pics of the box for proof.
I kept asking when I would get it sent he sent it via parcel post, and he said I should have it at the end of the week when he said he shipped it, but I did not get it til june 20th.
I shipped via UPS and he had it in less then a weeks time, he had it around june 2nd.
I would not deal with him again unless he shipped first. At the time, I thought I could belive what he had told me, but I guess I was wrong. He showed me a pic of an envelope that was sent back to him cuz he told me he lived in chicago and they have the worst post offices. The envelope was exposed to to water and the destination address was smeared off due to water-based ink.
Every time I would inquire about my package that was suppose to come, he would keep giving me excuses.
I have the tracking info of the package I sent, and it was signed by williams.
I have all the proof to show wne I shipped my package, when he shipped his, and the date on the box.
When I contacted the moderator at anandtech, he sent me 175$ via paypal to hold til I got my package, and asked that I did not leave negitive heat.
I believe that honest heat shold be left reguarding the trade. I have contacted the moderator once more to provide them with the tracking info on my package as well as let them knwo that I have a pic of the post office label on the package.
I would not deal with this guy if I where you, I do have good heat, at this posting I have 57 positive.
The packaging was pretty decent, the address labels should have been like huge. They where the size of them return address stickers you put on an envelope.
Response from samusHe left negative feedback because he arrived a package 2 weeks late. Sounds like the negative is deemed neccessary huh? This should be neutral feedback at worst, because I delivered goods, (without insurance, because I never promised to deliver them with insurance, I said i'd look into it and it was a possibility, but its my loss if they get lost not his, so what does he care if it lacks insurance) and they arrived in all working condition, opposed to the stuff he sent me that was poorly packaged and some not even functional on arrival. Maybe if he gave me a properly formatted address the post office wouldn't have spent the extra week figuring out where it was to be delivered.May 29, 2003
