First of all, I would like to say this trader is very unreliable and lacks communication. I have paypaled him for the microdrive first. But after 2-3 business days, I've got refund for the item WITHOUT any prior notification on letting me know of the situation. I wasn't sure what was going on so I asked him via Anandtech PM system. I had to PM him several times to just get hold of him. He says the reason for the refund was because he sold it to another member even though he definetely finalized deal with me. Then he says he will paypal me $10 for the trouble he caused. But even after a full week, he never sent me any paypal. Getting $10 paypal isn't really a big deal to me and I didn't even ask for it in the first place. However, what I don't appreciate is that he would not keep up with his promises. Also, it is very clear that he is ignoring my PMs as I've tried to contact him several times when he is logged in but never returns my messages. So in the end, I leave him negative feedback for very poor trading ethics and lack of communication. I am sure this could've been avoided but titansfan098 asked for it IMO.

5GB seagate microdrive and dell latitude C600 (broken)

I bought the items apparently after he promised all items to more than one party. Most of the parts showed up about 1.5 weeks after I paid half the agreed price (half before and half aftershipment was the deal).

The computer didn't include the hard drive (which was specifically stated to be included), but everything else was there. The microdrive refused to work in a computer, camera, or MP3 player. The seller said that it had been tested in a friend's camera, and worked fine, but it wasn't even formatted when it got to me, so I'm curious how that worked. After being told this, he offered to repay some of the price, and take it back.

After several weeks of trying to get the "lost" hard drive from him, I have yet to see a refund for the microdrive. After numerous PMs, there has been no response for the last week and a half. Luckily, I only gave him half the price.

So, with all the problems - missing item, bad item, slow shipping, and no response - this trader is not to be trusted.

Apparantly he sold or traded this laptop to 3 people. I had already shipped my parts when I get a message from him saying such. He offers to pay me $60, the value of the parts I sent him, and I accept.. a month later I recieved $30, and have heard nothing from him since.

Mark and were originally trading my chip for a hard drive, with myself paying a small amount to cover the difference. However, the drive was returned to him after being damaged in the mail, and he decided to simply buy the chip from me in order to prevent the deal from going south. He kept me abreast of everything that was going on, and made the refund quickly after learning of his drive's demise. I'm disappointed that the drive was damaged, but don't hold it against Mark... and I'd gladly do business with him again.
