Bought what was supposeably a 933 mhz P3, Alpha PAL 6035 HS, abit se6 mobo and 256 megs ram.

First off, he shipped the combo with the HS/Fan still attached! It was an Alpha PAL 6035 and when I received the package, the HS/Fan was unattached and probably caused some type of damage to the CPU/motherboard. Secondly, the CPU was not a 933, it was an 866. In the BIOS, he OC'ed it to 933 by switching the multiplier (this is an engineering sample, thus being unlocked). Lastly, he did not clean off the CPU, HS/Fan, or shim at all. All 3 had Arctic Silver all over them and the HS had all kinda of dust and dirt in it. It took me 30 minutes just to clean these off. The only things I were pleased with was that he package it securely (even though he left the HS/Fan still on) and he shipped it when he said he would. I would watch out and ask for pictures before you buy anything like this from him. He is going to give me negative feedback because I am leaving him negative feedback, but I mailed a MO via PRIORITY, so he was at fault on this deal. Hope you guys have better luck.

This trader shipped me a Win98 upgrade cd in a case with a product key ripped from someplace else on the inside of the jewel case.NO COA. When I asked this person to get postage to me to send this clearly not as described item back, he became dismissive,told me to simply "throw it away" as he wished to be done with the conversation. I have never given less than a positive eval but am doing so now because I have to wonder just
what this trader was trying to sell me anyway? I was very specific as to what I needed. If it was a legal copy of the upgrade wouldn't anybody want it returned to them ?
