I offered taxiwarez 300 for his GTX 980 TI strix. He told me he didn't have that card but he had a ref MSI 980 TI that he could send me for 300. Then he told me the MSI card was defective and he'd send me an EVGA card for $30 more. I said no dice, no more money, and he said he had a Gigabyte card he could send me. Never happened.

EDIT:
For more detail. This sounds similar to what happened to the last review (which was Neutral rating). Basically, the items he had listed were no longer available, but he had something similar, and he would send it out soon, which never ends up happening. In my case, he didn't have the original (Asus), then the one he was going to replace it with was defective (MSI), then he wanted more money for a different card (EVGA), then he told me he'd send me a fourth card (Gigabyte), and then he stopped replying. I never once got a tracking number; he obviously never actually shipped anything.
I don't know if this is a scam of some sort, or if his account has been hijacked. I am not familiar with this seller but prior to this he seems to be prolific and well-liked.
I started a PayPal inquiry and left negative feedback here, at which point he got back to me and said he had some hospital issues, basically. Honestly I don't believe him at all; his stories included needing to ask his "boss" for permission and also having trouble getting his "employees" to mail the package. He also said in this message that he'd ALREADY mailed the package, I guess hoping I'd cancel my PayPal inquiry. I told him to send me a tracking number and I'd cancel my feedback and PayPal inquiry. That simple. Never happened. I've since messaged him again, saying I'd still rather see an amiable ending to this. Still no reply.
ORIGINAL:
After 3 days, he sent me a message saying the card was not working after some testing and he could send me an EVGA VR edition for 30 more. I told him I wouldn't pay more but if he couldn't send that one we could work something else or. He told me he would send me a gigabyte ref card he had or the EVGA card if he got his bosses permission. This process of back and forth messaging took roughly two weeks. Finally, after not hearing from him for two days I told him he could either send me a tracking number or a good excuse. He did not respond.September 29, 2016

Sent money for an ASUS Maximus VII Gene, was told that had been sold although there was an agreement that money would be sent asap. Sent money for a z97-pro WiFi, that never shipped. *update below*
taxiwarez was the Seller on April 6, 2015 EVGA
Great communication initially when terms were being discussed for Maximus VII Gene. PayPal had double charged me and I was waiting for a refund, and once it came through, I verified the item was still showing for sale in the thread, and sent the money. I received an email shortly after explaining that the board had been sold to someone else, although is still shows for sale at the moment this is being drafted.
We came to an agreement on a z97-pro WiFi for slightly more. I sent the extra money and waited. A few days later, I requested an update on shipping. Was told that (on Saturday) the "I had to go on vacation, and Wednesday and Thursday it rained and I didn't want to get the boxes wet. I will have mum pick them up tomorrow and ship them. That was 7 days ago. There has been no updates, and I can see the user has been online after I sent requests for status updates multiple times over the last week. Communication is null, although I have sent messages through EVGA PM, email and now I am filing a complaint for a refund through PayPal.
I wish the user would have provided at least an update as to what was happening so that I would have an idea if there was an issue.
*Edit on 1 May 2015* taxiware has made contact and refunds were issued through paypal/Google wallet. Taxi did try to find a middle ground and see if there were any other items that I could use, since in his absence, I ordered another motherboard, but PayPal settled the dispute and issued a refund before another item could be agreed upon.
I have changed the rating from negative to neutral, as life events did have an impact on delivery. There were many frustrated people, as taxi mentions below, so I can not fully call it a positive experience all around. Hopefully things in the future will work smoother and shipments verified when they are supposed to go out.
Response from taxiwarezI totally agree with wot he is saying, the thing is i was in an Caribbean getaway that has no access to the real world other then cell phones that have no internet so i had no idea wot was going on, others ive dealt with would be surprised at me getting an Negative, im always fare and honest, wots worse i sold 2 Titan Xs along with 5 other items imagine ma suprise when i got home to see my paypal in excess of -$4,000, anyways im 90% of fixing all that ive spoken to every1 issued refunds and have items sent to the buyers who still needed it, just how life is sumtimes....
