  • VisonTek 9800 Pro in original box

JaggedEdge was the Buyer on February 20, 2006 AnandTech

Ad stated I would get a 9800 pro in box and all materials. I didn\\\'t get a box which would normally be ok but in this case I needed it because the card only worked for about 1 week. Sleepdragon stated the card had a lifetime warranty, but I cannot return it because Visontek needs a receipt. I asked in numerous emails for help and he said he would look for it. That was on 2/10/06. I asked if he had any luck on 2/15/06. Never responded. I never heard from him again. Now I get ignored.
I never OC\\\'d this card. I bought this for my 2nd pc for my kids. I have built 10+ computers in my days so I know what I am doing.
I hate to leave negative feedback but I feel I have no choice as I flat out lost 75$ on this deal.

    Response from sleepdragon
I sold him the card back on 01/08/06 and give him an excellent price too. Had to ship the card and stock cooler only to save on shipping. He received the card around 01/15/06 or so. The card was working when it left my house and it was working fine when he receive the card. 3 weeks after the deal is complete, he msg me telling me the card is dead. I honestly don\'t believe the responsbility is on me that the card died. I agreed to help him by giving him all the information he needed to contact visiontek, and I am sorry that I can\'t find the original box nor the receipt, but I did all I could to help him out, don\'t think I deserve this negative feedback. AFTER ALL, THE CARD WAS IN PERFECT WORKING CONDITION IN HIS HAND FOR UP TO 3 WEEKS BEFORE HE CLAIM IT DIED.

Bought a P4 processor with no issues. Mr. Tates made this an excellent transaction. Thanks Tates.
